A School for Korase

Participatory architecture in the context of international cooperation in Ghana.
The following article presents some reflections on the current model of participatory architecture, applied in the context of international cooperation in Africa. It draws from the experience of building a school in the village of Korase (Ghana), which took place between July and September 2018. The text is divided in three main sections: an overview of architecture in Ghana from a historical perspective, an approach to defining the practice of participatory architecture today and an evaluation of our experience in the implementation of the project in Korase.
